Fraud of Rs 1.33 lakh in Nawanshahr, left at the station after giving fake documents and uniform

Nawanshahr | A woman has been accused of duping a person of Rs. 1.33 lakh in the name of getting him a job as a constable in the railways has been arrested by Banga police. Accused woman Arpana first filled fake forms of two women, got fake medical done and on 28th November left the sister-in-law of complainant Amandeep Kaur, Sandeep Kaur, wearing RPF constable uniform at the railway post near Phagwara railway station. Railway police caught Sandeep on suspicion and released him on the condition that he will have to present the accused woman. Amandeep Kaur, resident of village Khatkar Kalan, told the police that she was interested in a government job. She talked to her sister-in-law, who was also interested in a job. Both of them got in touch with Arpana, who lives in Banga, who was saying that she had links with the railways. She also showed the railway ID card and assured her of getting a job in the railway police. After this, the woman filled her RPF constable registration form on 15th November, on which the roll number was written. She paid 1830 rupees as fee for this. On 18th November, she filled the form for medical and took 3250 rupees. On the same day, the accused woman took her to Punjab Institute of Medical Science, Jalandhar and made an OPD card and charged Rs 28,500. After this, she got her blood test and ECG done. After this, she came to the village and took Rs 1 lakh. Now Arpana has been arrested.
